∙ 15y agoIt depends on which direction you are resolving the acceleration from. If you use the original direction of the car as it turns it is decelerating as the speed it is moving in that direction is decreasing. If you resolve from the direction which the car will be going towards then it is accelerating as its speed in that direction is increasing.
