Not much (if you remove the whole issue of Darfur from the equation). Sudan is governed under fairly strict Muslim Sharia Law, and at one point Khartoum was said to be the safest city in Africa. I stayed there for a while and never once saw anything that would be considered criminal and punishable by "western standards".
I have heard stories about the prisons though, so I assume there are criminals, if the the storeys are half true I wouldn't want to be caught for anything ;)
The Sahara enters Sudan.
Sudan is located in North East Africa, directly south of Egypt
I am in Sudan right now!
Sudan - film - was created in 1945.
sudan is beautiful for its rivers and it is the biggest country
Crime is committed, and the numbers that measure it are collected, analyzed and become statistics.
Statistics on Chinese crime can be found here under the related link.
See: www.fbi.gov and search the stie for crime statistics
Well i think its police and the FBI that collect the crime statistics (sorry if that is not your question)
There are no statistics about richest people in Sudan. however the richest Sudanese man outside Sudan is Mo Ibrahim
Crime statistics are supposed to be and usually are reported by local and federal law enforcement agencies. Many times the statistics are reported in the newspaper.
Your question is confusing, "Can you have some crime statistics?" I don't really understand the question, but if I assume you're asking where you can get statistics on crimes in the United States, one of the places is the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Also, if you type into your browser window "crime statistics" there are other websites where you can go to do your research.
Yes, no, maybe Seems everyone has their own list. South Africa is usually in the top 10. The reason for these varying statistics may be that everyone has a different definition of a serious crime. Homocide rates are certaintly in this group, as well as violent assaults. Also, crime statistics may not fairly reflect the danger to the traveler who stays in better sections of cities. I also believe that there is unreporting of statistics. I just have a hard time believing that Iceland is more dangerous than the Sudan based on crime statistics. From personal experience, the country of South Africa has many cities where you will feel safe during the day and night. Johannesburg downtown and Hillbrow at night should not be visited alone. I speak from personal experience, rather than statistics. Also, conditions do change and crime statistics will lag behind these changes. See related links.

Crime reporting is the reporting of crimes that happen in a particular area of a neighborhood, city, state or country. Crime reporting can include things like crime statistics.
Crime statistics are often expressed as crimes per 100,000 people. This allows for easy comparison of crime between two cities or states with different populations.
