No. There are numbers that we don't have names for, but we can easily describe

them. And whatever number you choose, no matter how big it is, I can always

just add ' 1 ' to your number ... or even ' 0.001 ' ... and make another number

that's bigger. So there's no end.

Numbers go on forever.

In mathematical proofs, specific numbers are described that are so amazingly huge that the entire universe is not large enough to hold their written representation if you put one digit per Planck volume (the smallest physically meaningful space - far smaller than, say, a proton or any other known subatomic particle).

Such numbers are far greater than most people's concept of "infinity", and yet they're no closer to infinity than zero is.

Special symbolism has to be invented to describe these numbers, such as Conway's "chained arrow" notation or Knuth's "up arrow" notation.
