A unique factor pair is a pair of factors that haven't been given already that multiply to give the original number. For instance, if I was going to work out the factors of 24, I would put 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24.The unique factor pairs would be 1 and 24, 2 and 12, 3 and 8, 4 and 6. I could also write 8 and 3 as a factor pair, but as I've already put the reverse of this, it would not be a uniquefactor pair.
