You do a factor tree

80

/ \

2 40

/ \

4 10

/ \ / \

2 2 2 5

Circle all prime numbers (bold) and then list different combinations of those to find them. Like 2 x 2, 2 x 5 and then go on to 2 x 2 x 2, 2 x 2 x 5 etc. and those answers will each be a factor. 2 x 2 = 4, therefore 4 is a factor of 80.

You find what half of the number is and then you look through all of the numbers and whichever numbers go into that number evenly are factors.
