I think "smallest greatest" is my new favorite oxymoron. If the GCF of two numbers is 850, the smallest those two numbers could be is 850 and 850. If they need to be different, the smallest they could be is 850 and 1700.
The GCF of 850 and 1700 is 850. There are other pairs with a GCF of 850 as well.
The greatest common factor of 245 and 875 is 35.
Since 850 is a factor of 1700, it is automatically the GCF of this problem.
850 and 1700, among others.
The GCF is 1.
The numbers could be 1700 and 2550.
GCF(840, 440) = 40
