Zero. "Cubic feet" describes a volume of space, like the space inside a bottle or a box.

"Square feet" describes an amount of surface, like the surface of a sheet of paper or

the floor of a room. The surface of a sheet of paper has no volume, and can't hold any

water, because is has no sides. Square feet have no cubic feet in them.

That's why there are two different kinds of units. If one could convert into the other,

we wouldn't need both of them.

20 cubic meters is a measure of volume equal to the amount of space that can be filled by 20 cubes, each with edges of 1 meter in length. Visualize a cube with sides measuring 1 meter each, and imagine stacking 20 of them together to get an idea of the size represented by 20 cubic meters.

That's going to depend on the substance in those cubic meters.

-- If they're empty, then there are zero tons in them.

-- If they contain air, then there are about 0.0284 ton in them.

-- If they're full of water, then there are about 22.05 tons.

-- If those cubic meters are full of stones or gold. then there are a lot more tons.

An easy way to imagine 20m3is to think of an object 2x2x5 metres. It's pretty big, but to put it into perspective, if you were to fill this container with water, it would weigh 20 tons.
