The conversion of 1 ton of wood to cubic meters depends on the density of the wood. The density of wood can vary depending on the type of wood, but it is generally around 0.4 to 0.8 cubic meters per ton. To convert 1 ton of wood to cubic meters, you can use the average density of wood to estimate the volume.

That would depend on the type of wood and if it is loosely piled branches or solidly packed boards.

Pine wood brances and split truncks, piled in a heap has a density of about 0.5 so one ton has a volume of about 2 m3

Ebony has a density of about 1.25 so one ton has a volume of about 0.8 m3

The above answer is correct , but I think that you should realize that it is rather useless trying to convert a load of wood weighed in Ton, into a Volume measure. As the first answer said, there is a lot of fresh air in a load of wood and so its volume will vary dramatically . The only sensible use of comparing wood density , weight, and volume , is when you have a solid chunk of wood with no air spaces.

How many ton in 76.5 cubic meters of wood chips?

To convert cubic meters to metric tons, you would need to know the density of the wood chips. Different types of wood chips have different densities, so this information is needed to provide an accurate conversion. Once you have the density, you can use the formula: weight (ton) = volume (cubic meters) x density (ton/cubic meter).

How many cubic meters are there in a metric ton?

The number of cubic meters in a metric ton depends on the density of the material. To convert metric tons to cubic meters, you would need to know the density of the material in question. The formula to calculate this is volume = mass / density.

How do you convert 1 ton of scaffold into cubic meter?

To convert 1 ton of scaffold into cubic meters, you need to know the density of the scaffold material. Once you have the density in kilograms per cubic meter, you can convert the weight in tons to kilograms and then calculate the volume in cubic meters using the formula: Volume (m^3) = Mass (kg) / Density (kg/m^3).

What is bigger a cubic meter of wood or a ton?

A ton is bigger than a cubic meter of wood. A ton is a unit of mass, equal to 1000 kilograms, while a cubic meter is a unit of volume. The weight of a cubic meter of wood will depend on the type of wood and its density.

How you can convert one ton of marble to one cubic meter?

To convert one ton of marble to one cubic meter, you need to know the density of the marble. The density of marble varies, but it is typically around 2.5 to 2.7 grams per cubic centimeter. You can use this density value to calculate the volume in cubic meters that one ton of marble would occupy.
