The answer to this is rather more complicated than you might think. Kilometers are standard wherever they are used i.e. always 1000 meters but a mile can vary in length depending on where it is used. For example, a standard imperial mile is 1760 yards while a nautical mile is 2000 yards. Your question needs to be more precise.

However 1 imperial mile = 1.609334 kilometers. A rough rule of thumb is 1 kilometer is 5/8 mile. Not precise but good enough for rough calculations

A kilometer is a unit of measurement in the metric system that is equal to 1,000 meters, while a mile is a unit of measurement in the imperial system that is equal to 1,609.34 meters. Therefore, a mile is longer than a kilometer.

km is a unit of measurement as well as mile so your question is redundant
