This is a question about VOLUME. . Sea level has nothing to do with you question . Actually if I answer your question as you have actually worded it, the answer is very simple. A gallon is roughly equal to 4.5 Litre. 1 Litre equals 1000 cubic cm so 4.5 Litre equals 4500 cc. Now we need to convert 4500cc (metric) to cubic feet (imperial) and that is your answer. It is obvious from your question, that you do not understand that the Pressure has absolutely nothing to do with the Volume inside the tank. The volume of the tank never changes regardless of it's height above sea level. It simply holds 5 gallons, or roughly 4500 cc why bother changing the volume to Cubic Feet? However , use this to do your own calculation. 1Pint equals 625 cc so 5 gallon equals, 5 x 8 x 625 equals 25,000 cubic cm I leave you to convert that to cubic feet. Be aware that it doesn't matter what you put in the tank, and it doesn't matter what the pressure is in the tank and it doesn't matter where the tank is. (sea level or on mars) the cubic feet VOLUME never changes. It simply is ALWAYS going to hold 5 gallonsand have a volume of 25,000 cubic cm which equals ?? Cubic feet.
