A metre is a measure of length or distance in 1-dimensional space while a cent is a measure of area in 2-dimensional space. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, conversion from one to the other is not valid without some addition information.

You can't convert square meters (a unit of area) to centimeters (a unit of length).

A meter has 100 centimeters.

A square meter has 10,000 (100 x 100) square centimeters.
