Best Answer

Watts = Amps x Volts x Power Factor

Power factor varies from 0 to 1 with 1 being a pure resistive load like a light bulb. A motor would have a lesser value.

So if your load is resistive just use 1 x 440.

A hand drill drawn 4A and has a resistance of 14.6 ohm what is the power it user is?

This can be determined by considering the simple electrical formulae:Power(watts) = Potential(volts) X Current (amperes)If you are plugged into the average household electrical service in the U.S., you probably can assume about 110 or 115 volts for your potential. So: Watts = 110 volts x 4 amps = 440 wattsIf you want the answer in horsepower:746 watts/horsepower gives you 440/746 hp = 0.59 hpOf course, this is a simplification, but it is probably close enough without getting all electrical engineery on you. How do you get single phase 440 from three phase 440?

You Don't. 440volt 3-phase is actually 480 volts, taking a single phase gives 277Volts single phase. To get single phase 440 you would use one leg of three phase 440/760 three phase power.

How do you convert 110 kva 440 volts?

To convert 110 kVA at 440 volts to amperes, you can use the formula: Amperes = kVA / (Volts x 1.73) for three-phase systems. In this case, 110 kVA / (440 volts x 1.73) ≈ 143.37 amperes.

How many amps in 15KVA circuit at 440 volts?

To calculate the amperage in a 15kVA circuit at 440 volts, you can use the formula: Amperage = Power (kVA) / Voltage (V) * 1000. Plugging in the values, you get: Amperage = 15 / 440 * 1000 ≈ 34.09 amps.
