Contactors have both power and auxiliary contacts. We use the auxiliary contact to control magnetic system of contactor. When a heater , relay or a key warn the contactor it is energized and by the typical magnetic interaction it opens its closed power contacts.

Can 125v magnetic switch be used in 12v system?

No, a 125V magnetic switch is not recommended for use in a 12V system. The switch may not operate reliably or safely at the lower voltage, which could lead to malfunctions or damage. It's best to use a switch rated for the specific voltage of the system to ensure proper functionality.

What is meant by main contact and auxiliary contact in magnetic contactor?

The main contact in a magnetic contactor is the primary contact used to control the flow of current to the load. The auxiliary contact is an additional contact that is used for signaling or monitoring purposes, such as indicating the status of the contactor or controlling other devices in the circuit.

Is a magnetic disc affected by a theft detection device or magnetic theft alarm sensor?

Yes, a magnetic disc like a hard drive or floppy disk can be affected by a theft detection device or magnetic theft alarm sensor due to the strong magnetic fields they emit. This can potentially cause data loss or corruption on the magnetic disc. It is best to keep such devices away from magnetic fields.

Mputer who read the magnetic charcter?

It sounds like you might be referring to a device called a magnetic card reader, which reads information stored on magnetic stripes found on credit cards, IDs, and other types of cards. These readers use magnetic fields to interpret the data encoded on the magnetic stripe and typically interface with a computer or other device to process the information.

Why you are not getting 24 volts to the contactor?

Check if there is power supply from the source to the contactor, ensure that the contactor is properly connected and functioning correctly, and troubleshoot any potential issues with the control wiring or safety features that may be preventing the contactor from receiving the 24 volts.
