A bushel is a measure of dry volume, that is the volume of a non-liquid substance.

It is used particularly in relation to grain commodities (Oats, Barley, Wheat, etc). As the bushel is a specified volume and each grain has a certain density, the actual weight varies between the grains; however, the weight of a bushel of each grain has been standardised (and legislated) for use in the commodity markets, for example one bushel of: Barley - 48 lb, Wheat - 60 lb. But note, that different legislators can define different weights for the same commodity, eg in USA a bushel of Oats is 32 lb, but in Canada it is 34 lb.

To convert cubic feet to bushels, you divide the volume in cubic feet by 1.244, as 1 bushel is approximately equal to 1.244 cubic feet. So, the formula is: Bushels = Cubic feet / 1.244.

1.5 bushels is equal to how many cubic feet?

1.5 bushels is equal to approximately 2.12 cubic feet.

How many bushels of wheat in a 60 cubic feet area?

The number of bushels of wheat in a 60 cubic feet area would depend on the density of the wheat. Bushels measure volume, so you would need to know the weight of a bushel of wheat to accurately determine how many bushels would fit in a 60 cubic feet area.

What is the non si unit for volume?

Cubic feet, or cubic inches, are often used. Then there are special units for volume, unfortunately, different units are used for liquids (gallons), and for dry things like grain (bushels).Cubic feet, or cubic inches, are often used. How do you figure cubic feet of dirt?

To calculate the cubic feet of dirt, measure the length, width, and depth of the area in feet. Then, multiply the three dimensions together to get the volume in cubic feet. Formula: Length (ft) x Width (ft) x Depth (ft) = Cubic Feet of Dirt.

How calculate cubic feet and cubic meeter what is the formula?

To convert cubic feet to cubic meters, you can use the formula: cubic feet x 0.02832 = cubic meters. To convert cubic meters to cubic feet, you can use the formula: cubic meters x 35.3147 = cubic feet.
