1 gr = 1,000 mg 2 gr = 2,000 mg . . 5 gr = 5,000 mg
1 gram = 1,000 milligrams
gr ss -____mg?
.001. A milligram is 1/1000 of a gram
It depends on what you're asking. Is gr a gram or is gr a grain? There are 1000 mg in a gram - hence the prefix milli. There are approx. 60 mg in a grain measurement. I say approx. because the actual formula of grain to gram conversion works out to be about 10 millionths behind the decimal so it rounds to 0.060 gram or 60 mg! Hope this helps. Earl L. .25 gr = .25 x 1000 = 250 mg
1500 mg
60 mg is 0.925942 gr(grain), or 0.06 g(grams).

1 gr(grain) is equal to about 1/64th of a mg so 1 mg(milligram) is equal to 0.0154323584 gr(grains)
60 mg -------- gr i 45 mg 15 mg -------- -------- gr 3/4 gr 1/4 30 mg -------- gr 1/2
0.03g
The normal symbol for gram is g, rather than gr. 1 g = 1000 mg so 15g = 15,000 mg. Simple!
1 milligram = 0.001 grams
