IF U DON"T KNOW WELL HERE IT GOES say u have volume:6 cu. in length"3 in. WIDTH:2 in. U ADD IT ALL UP AND THERE YOU GO. TADA ???????'S CONTACT ME AT: jocelyneszaragoza@gmail.com
The volume V of a prism is the area of its base Btimes its height h.
An L shaped figure is a plane figure and so will not have a volume.
Volume = (height)(area base)
To find the perpendicular height of a square pyramid, first compute for the volume of the pyramid. Then divide the volume by the area of the base to find pyramid's height.
You times the length by the width by the height to find volume. To find the density do mass divided by volume.
This is the formula for volume:l x h x w( length x height x width )
The volume V of a prism is the area of its base Btimes its height h.
LxWxH L=Length W=Width H=Height
If it is a "square" area then you won't be looking for volume. However, if you are looking for the volume of a rectangular prism, it is simply: Width * Length * Height = Volume This simplifies to Length ^ 3 if you are trying to find the volume of a cube. If you are looking for the volume a square area takes depending on it's height, you can just take the area and multiply it by the height as well. (Width * Length) = Area (Width * Length) * Height = Volume Therefore: Area * Height = Volume
The trapezoid is a plane figure which has surface Area, but no volume but if there was a 3d figure your equation would be. The Surface Area of a trapezoid = ½(b1+b2) x h X Height of figure.
Since: Volume = height x base Height = Volume / Base
height*length*width = volume Divide both sides by length*width to find the height: height = volume divided by length*width
By comparing the volume given to each figure.
techniclly you cant find the volume of a triangle, because it is a flat figure and it has no depth or volume. but if ur talking about a 3-d figure, then you just do base times height times 1.5 (1/2) and there is your answer
You can't figure it out because to find volume, you need the length, height, and width. But to find volume multiply all those digits together.
An L shaped figure is a plane figure and so will not have a volume.
Find the area of the base, find the height of the pyramid. Volume = (1/3)*(area of base)*(height)
