I need a universal door closer 55h5
This closer has only one adjustment on the lefthand end within a recess is a very small black plastic slotted screw that is more of a brake on the spring than anything else . There is a need to remove the unit to make any adjustments as this screw is against the release unit when fitted to door or frame this makes it very time comsuming and not a good choice for numerous accurate speed / power changes be careful as the adjustments are very sensitve so 2mm at a time is recomended.........hope this helps
