Only improper fractions can be turned into mixed numbers. To do so, whatever the denominator is, take as many of that value out of the numerator and move it to the front.

Ex: 58/7 . 7 goes into 58 eight times, so take out eight 7's from the numerator. 58-56 = 2, so the new numerator is 2. A good way to think of it is:

58/7 = 56/7 + 2/7

56/7 is 8, so your final answer would be 8 2/7
