You cannot.
A tonne is a measure of mass. A gallon is a measure of volume. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, conversion from one to the other is not valid.
If you are not convinced, consider a gallon of air. How many tonnes (or grams)? Next consider a gallon of Mercury. How many kilograms?
The volume occupied by a gallon of air and of water will clearly be very different. So there is no direct conversion between mass and volume: you need to know the density of the substance to enable you to carry out the conversion.
7,000 kg = about 6.889 metric tons.
Divide by 1000

There are 20.446 US tons (18.549 metric tons) in 4900 gallons of water. Explanation: There are 8.3453 lbs (3.7855 kg) of water in a gallon, making about 40,892 lbs (18,549 kg). 1 US ton is 2000 lbs, 1 metric ton is 1000 kg.
The conversion factor from cubic meters to metric tons depends on the density of the substance being measured. To convert, you need to know the density of the material in question in units of metric tons per cubic meter. Then, you can multiply the density by the volume in cubic meters to determine the mass in metric tons.
Metric tons can't be converted to gallons. Metric tons measure mass, while gallons measure volume.
Gallons can't be converted to metric tons. Gallons measure volume, while metric tons measure mass.
To convert metric tons (tonnes) to net tons, simply divide the metric tons by 1.10231. This will give you the equivalent weight in net tons. For example, 10 metric tons is approximately equal to 9.07 net tons.
Metric tons can't be converted to imperial gallons. Metric tons measure mass, while imperial gallons measure volume.
19,500,000 tons is 17,690,000 metric tons.
10004206 metric tons is equivalent to 10.004206 million metric tons.
2,940 US gallons of water weighs about 11.14 metric tons.
Dry metric tons are metric tons without moisture. 100 metric tons at 10% moisture = 90 dry metric tons. The formula is metric tons equals dry metric tons less moisture.
you take all the metric tons...and out them over there ----->
Formula: metric tons x 2,204.6 = pounds
no
1 pound is 0.000453592 metric tons. 1 metric ton is 2204.62262 pounds
