You need the area to find the volume of an object.
Length times width times height
Mass = Pressure*Area
To distinguish it from the volume of an object which is measured in cubic units.
The measure, in cubic centimetres IS the volume!
yes cubic feet are used to find area
8 inches x 8 inches = 64 square inches = the area of the piece of paper. Length and width are used to find the area of an object, not the volume (cubic inches). To find the volume of the piece of paper you need to know the depth of the sheet of paper. You might be able to find this out with a Google search.
Area of round duct is pi times radius squared.
Depends on the shape, if it's a cylinder then find the radius of the circle on the end by measuring the diameter in feet and halving it. Then multiply it by itself and the multiply it by pi (~3.141593); this is the area of the circle in square feet. Multiply this by the length of the tank (measured in feet) to get the cubic feet.
You would have to round since area will not be able to be represented without rounding.

Impossible because area is measured in square units whereas volume is measured in cubic units.
The same way you round to the nearest anything. You eliminate the numbers after the decimal point; if the first decimal digit decimal digit is 5 or more, you add one to the whole part.
To find the area of a object you do width x highth for a rectangle. You multiply on side of the object 4 times to get the area of a square. To find the area of a trapizoid, the formula is, 1/2 times highth (base 1 plus base 2).
