m6 - 16m3 + 64 = 0

m6 - 8m3 - 8m3 + 64 = 0

m3(m3 - 8) - 8(m3 - 8) = 0

(m3 - 8)2 = 0

(m3 - 2m2 + 2m2 - 4m + 4m - 8)2 = 0

[m2(m-2) + 2m(m-2) + 4(m-2)]2 = 0

[(m2 +2m + 4)(m-2)]2 = 0

So m -2 = 0 or m2 + 2m + 4 = 0

ie m= 2 or m= -1 +/- i*sqrt(3) with each of the three roots being double roots.
