It depends how fast you count. Let's say once per second without stopping to rest...

1 sextillion = 10^21

(ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_large_numbers)

1 year = 31 million seconds (rounded off) =~ 3x10^7 sec

Therefore counting once per second it will take about

(10^22)/(3x10^7) =~ 3x10^14 years = 300 trillion years.

To put that in perspective:

The Earth is 4.3 billion years old

The universe is 14 billion years old.

So it would take about 20,000 times the present age of the universe!!
