1,000,000. Here are two ways to get that. One easy way is to remember that the unit names are multiples of 1,000. So 1/1000 of a billion is a million. Just slide over a unit. Another way to find out is to divide the one large number by the smaller one, and this is easy, since there are 3 zeros on 1000, so you would remove three zeros from the billion, leaving you with a million. This works with any power of ten when you want to divide or multiply, you'd add or remove whatever number of zeros to/from the end.
