∙ 6y agoWhen working with mixed numbers, it is usually easier to convert them to improper fractions, do the operations, and then to convert any resulting improper fraction back to a mixed number:
2 1/2 = (2×2+1)/2 = 5/2
5/2 ÷ 3/4 = 5/2 × 4/3
= 20/6
= 3 2/6
= 3⅓
→ You can make 3 whole ¾lb bags of nuts from a 2½lb bag of nuts, and have some nuts left over which would only fill ⅓ of a ¾lb bag of nuts.

75 pounds of the 80 cent nuts and 15 of the 50 cent nuts.
Cups is a measure of volume. Pounds is a measure of weight and mass. You can not directly convert the two. It will depend largely on the nuts and how they are chopped. Could be as many as 4 cups.
Depends on the nuts you use, but here is a list. Measured as no shell and whole. Almonds - 3 1/2 cups Peanuts (Legume) - 2 1/4 cups Pecans - 4 cups Walnuts - 4 cups I mostly learned this by research on the internet and then measuring it on my own. I hope this helps :)
Twenty pounds.
The answer depends on how many pounds of nuts are purchased. And since you have not bothered to share that crucial bit of information, I cannot provide a more useful answer.
Wait uhh sorry not this one
If you are having your gift bags custom made then I am sure that they could and would cater to children with nut and chocolate allergies. Allergies are so very common these days, and you could just make sure that these gift bags only contain items that are nut and chocolate free. Another option would be to have some volunteers get together and make up some nice gift bags for the children without nuts or chocolate.
Most almonds sold as whole nuts are nonpareil variety. There are roughly 375 almonds per pound for nonpareils.
