There are 6 different types of Arithmetic operations. Perenthesis, Exponents, Mulitpication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction. An easy way to remember all of these is a saying that goes.. Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally also known as P.E.M.D.A.S. This is an acronim that stands for the 6 operations. It goes in this specific order because if you deal with an math problem like (5 * 4) + 7 - 10 = you would deal with the Perenthesis first, 5 * 4 = 20, then exponents but since there are none you skip it, then multipication, once again skip it, division, you know what, addition (finally) add 20 plus 7, 27. Then lastly subtract 10 and you got 17. But if you come across a prblem like (7* 2) + 2 / 8* 2 you would actually do the division BEFORE the multipication since it comes first. This can only be possible if the numbers come continuous and if there...
Well I don't know why I'm going on and on about this bottom line there are 6 operations.
btw hope this is helpful considereing it was written by an 11 year old =)
There are a few rules to perform arithmetic operations in binary numbers. According to those rules you can add or subtract binary numbers. There are only two arithmetic operations used in binary numbers, they are addition and subtraction.
The four basic operations of arithmetic are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
yes, there are four arithmetic operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Arithmetic operations are addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.Logical operations are OR,AND NOT,NOR,NAND,XOR,XNOR.
The unit that performs the arithmetic and logical operations within the processor is called the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU).
The arithmetic circuits on the list that you posted with the question are incapable of performing any operations
Arithmetic is the process of applying the four basic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to numbers.
