A kilogram is a measure of mass ... the amount that weighs 2.205 pounds on Earth.

A meter is a measure of length ( a meter is just a little longer than a yard )

If you meant how many kilometres (km) make one metre (m), then the answer is 0.001 km make 1 m. 1 kilometre is 1000 times larger than a metre.

I think you mean meters. But a meter is a unit of length and kilogram is a unit of weight. The basic metric unit of weight is a gram and it takes 1,000 grams to make a kilogram and the meter is the basic unit of length. It takes 1,000 meters to create 1 kilometer. A kilometer equals a little more than half a mile and a kilogram equals about 2 1/2 pounds.

Begin by identifying the unit. Next look at the prefix. What does "Kilo" mean? What does "milli" mean? How many zeroes from the prefix kilo to the unit? How many zeroes from the unit to milli? Add the number of zeroes and figure out which way the decimal is moving.

Kilogram is the metric unit and pound is the imperial unit for mass. 1 Kilogram is 2.204 pounds. So we multiply pound by 0.4535 to get the equivalent kilograms. Answer in kg approx = 0.45
