There is no sensible answer to the question.

A milligram is a measure of mass. A millilitre is a measure of volume. The two measure different things and, according to basic principles of dimensional analysis, conversion from one to the other is not valid.

If you are not convinced, consider a millilitre of air. How many milligrams? Next consider a millilitre of lead. How many milligrams?

The masses of equal volumes of the two substances will clearly be very different. So there is no direct conversion between mass and volume: you need to know the density of the substance to enable you to carry out the conversion.

Some people still believe that there is a conversion in relation to pure water but that is only approximately true. Until 1964 (nearly 50 year ago!) a litre was defined as the volume of one kilogram of pure water at 4 degrees Celsius and at a pressure of 760 millimetres of Mercury. With that definition a conversion would have been valid - but only for pure water and only under those conditions. In any case that definition of a litre was abandoned in favour of 1 litre =1000 cubic centimetres. In fact the density of pure water, at 4 deg C and 760 ml of mercury is 999.9720 kg/metre3

How many milligrams are in milliliter?

Milligrams measure weight and milliliters measure volume, so it depends on the density of the measured thing.

How many milligrams in one teaspons?

I think what you mean to ask is how many milliliters (ml) are in a teaspoon, there are 5ml per teaspoon. Milligrams refers to the concentration of the medication as in how many milligrams per milliliter and that will vary from medication to medication

How many milligrams equal 1 milliliter?

Milligrams versus millilitersOne milliliter of water weighs one gram. There are 1000 milligrams in one gram. One milliliter of other substances will weigh more or less, depending upon their densities. A millilter of gasoline, for example, weighs less, and a milliliter of mercury weighs more -- WAY more. (No pun intended.)Milligram is a unit of mass; milliliter is a unit of volume. You can't directly convert the two. If you know the density of a substance, you can say, for example, "1 milliliter of water has a mass of 1 gram (1000 milligrams)", or "1 milliliter of lead has a mass of about 11 gram".

How many ml in 4 milligrams?

This cannot be sensibly answered. A milliliter (mL or ml) is a measure of volume, grams and milligrams are measures of weight or mass.

How many grams are in 50 milligrams?

There are 50 grams in one milliliter and 1000 milligrams in one liter, so there are 50,000 milligrams in 50 grams.

How many milligrams are in 2.5 milliliters?

A milligram is a unit of mass, a milliliter is a unit of volume. These two are incomparable.

How would you know the milligrams per weight in animal penicillen?

The bottle will state how many milligrams there are per milliliter. The instructions included with the bottle will say how many milligrams per kg are needed for the species of animal to be treated. With that info you can calculate the number of milligrams you will be administering.
