You need the density of compressed asphalt for a good estimate.

But let us say it is 3 g/cm³ which is what granite is (By all means hunt down a better number)

density = mass/(unit volume)

or

volume = mass/density

The units need to be the same.****

Convert 3 g/cm³ to lb/ft³
