There can be only 1 combination since, in a combination, the order of the digits does not matter. So, since you must have each digit once and only once, the only combination is 3456.
Each person would receive two whole apples and one third each.
There's no way to answer this, unless you assume she gave as many as she could to each person, and gave each person the same. Then each of her friends gets four apples, and she's left with one.

The synergistic effect is what happens when you combine the intake of two or more drugs at the same time. The effect is different with each combination, each time and each person. The most dangerous aspect of synergism is the additive effect. Alcohol plus sleeping pills can have a dramatically greater effect than either drug alone. A one plus one combination could equal four. Each drug compounds the effect of the other, further altering the driver's ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. (bigmountaindrugs.com)
I DO NOT KNOW THATIts when the effect of two chemicals on an organism is greater than the effect of each chemical individually, or the sum of the individual effects. The presence of one chemical enhances the effects of the second. This is called a synergistic effect or synergy, and the chemicals are sometimes described as showing synergism.
The effects are 'additive' if they just piggy-back on each other, or are 'synergistic' if the effect of both drugs together is greater than the sum of the effects of each of the drugs separately.

Synergistic interaction refers to a situation where the combined effect of two or more components is greater than the sum of their individual effects. In other words, the components work together in a way that enhances each other's effects. This can occur in various contexts, such as drug interactions or in business partnerships.

Both interchangeable.
In terms of efficacy, there can be three types of interactions between medications: additive, synergistic, and antagonistic. Additive interaction means the effect of two chemicals is equal to the sum of the effect of the two chemicals taken separately. This is usually due to the two chemicals acting on the body in the same way. Examples would be Aspirin and Motrin, Alcohol and Depressant, Tranquilizer and Painkiller. Synergistic interaction means that the effect of two chemicals taken together is greater than the sum of their separate effect at the same doses. An example is Pesticide and Fertilizer, the biological effect is devastating. Antagonistic interaction means that the effect of two chemicals is actually less than the sum of the effect of the two drugs taken independently of each other. This is because the second chemical increases the excretion of the first, or even directly blocks its toxic actions. Antagonism forms the basis for antidotes of poisonings. [Source: Wikipedia]
When two or more hormones work together to produce a particular result, their effects are said to be synergistic. These effects may be additive or complementary. The action of epinephrine and norepinephrine on the heart is a good example of an additive effect. Each of these hormones separately produces an increase in cardiac rate; acting together in the same concentrations, they stimulate an even greater increase in cardiac rate. The synergistic action of FSH and testosterone is an example of a complementary effect; each hormone separately stimulates a different stage of spermatogenesis during puberty, so that both hormones together are needed at that time to complete sperm development. Likewise, the ability of mammary glands to produce and secrete milk requires the synergistic action of many hormones-estrogen, cortisol, prolactin, oxytocin, and others.
A synergistic drug, or I should say drugs, would be two drugs combining to give the user the same type of experience while building off of each other. For example, say you ingest an opiate based pain killer like oxycodone or hydromorphone, and then take a benzodiazepine like Valium or xanax with it. The xanax or Valium will add to the "drowsiness" effect often felt with opiates. I think that basically explains it.
