There is none because Least Common Denominator (or LCD) refers to the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of the denominators of two or more fractions or mixed numbers. Even if you converted your whole numbers (x) to their fraction equivalents (x/1), the LCD would always be 1.

How do you do least common denominators?

Find the LCM of the denominators. Since the LCM of 3 and 4 is 12, the least common denominator of 1/3 and 1/4 is 12.

If two fraction have unlike denominators then the LTD is the product of their denominations?

Answer: I assume you are talking about the least common denominator. If you multiply the denominators, you will get a common denominator. This will always work, if you need to add, subtract, or compare fractions. However, the common denominator you thus get will not always be the LEAST common denominator. Examples: * For denominators 7 and 11, the least common denominator is, indeed, the product (77). * For denominators 4 and 6, the product is 24, but the least common denominator is 12. * The difference can be more extreme, too; for denominators 100 and 200, the product is 20,000, but the least common denominator is only 200. * Or even more extreme: if both fractions have the denominator 551, the product is 303,601. The least common denominator, of course, is just 551. Answer: I am not sure but it's Lcd

What is the common denominator of 12 6 and 4?

There are infinitely many common denominators. The least of these is 12.

What is the least common multiple of 4 9 and 11?

The least common multiple of 4 , 9 , 11 = 396

What is the difference between a least common multiple and a least common denominator?

The Least (or Lowest) Common Multiple (LCM) is the smallest number that is a multiple of both numbers. For example: the LCM of 10 and 4 is 20, because both 10 and 4 go into 20 and 20 is the smallest number both 10 and 4 can go into. To be able to add or subtract fractions they must have the same denominator. If the denominators are different then the fractions must first be converted into equivalent fractions with a common denominator; any common denominator can be used, but by using the Least Common Multiple of the denominators as the new denominator it keeps the numbers smaller; this smallest denominator is known as the Least Common Denominator Thus the Least Common Denominator is the Least Common Multiple of the denominators of two (or more) fractions (used when adding or subtracting fractions with different denominators). As the Least Common Multiple is used most often with adding or subtracting fractions, it is often referred to as the Least Common Denominator (because the numbers being considered are usually denominators of fractions).

What is the least common multiple of 4 12 and 33?

The word "least" is a superlative adjective and that means you can have only one common denominator. So least common denominators makes no sense. The least common denominator of 33, 12 and 4 is 132
