NO such thing as a triangular pyramid.

A PYRAMID has a square base, upon which four triangles are mounted, to form a peak.

A TETRAHEDRON has a triangular base and three triangular faces mounted on it.

There is no standard naming convention. Most often a face is defined by the name of the three vertices of the face, in turn you can label these vertices anything you want. Often the base has vertices A, B, C and the fourth vertex is D.

They are called what you want to call them.
They do not have names.
