It is believed that the Pythagoras Theorem was invented by a greek named Pythagoras. The Theorem is said to be invented in 530 B.C . Researchers are of a view that the theorem must have been invented aeven before that. Pythagoras lived from 569 to 500 BC. Since the theorem is named after him, we believe to this day that he could be the inventor of it. He spent his time travelling to Egypt and learnt about mathematics much. The rudiments of the theory can also be found in a portion of a tablet from Babylonia dating to 1900 B.C.E., which is about 4,000 years old to date. So it is still a doubt to actually know whether he was the founder of it. Hope this helps.
61, assuming a date of birth on, or before, this date; otherwise, you would be 60.
You would need to know your conception date and go from there. If the date is not a pin point date, you might opt for a DNA test.
You press the button that has the Clock/Calendar picture on it. On the first push, the date will show. On the second push, the time will show. If you want to print just the date, then push the Clock/Calendar button once (showing the date) - and press the button that has the #/Diamond picture on it (to the right of the + button) and it will print. If you want the date and time, then do as stated above for the date, then push the Clock/Calendar button again to get to the time and press the button that has the #/Diamond picture on it. TaDa -
Pythagoras was born around 575 b.c., the exact date is not known.
From wikipedia. The analytical engine, an important step in the history of computers, was the design of a mechanical general-purpose computer by the British mathematician Charles Babbage. It was first described in 1837, but Babbage continued to work on the design until his death in 1871.This is, of course, assuming you don't count the Abacus.
You may be thinking of Charles Babbage (1791-1871), but I cannot verify the date of 1839.Babbage never made any computer, he couldn't get funding for anything he designed after totally mismanaging his Difference Engine #1 project.
1777
The first mechanical computing machine was invented in Greece circa 100 BC: It was used for navigation. it was called the Antikythera mechanism. It is remains unknown as to the origins and dating of the first mechanical computers. For example by definition the Abacus is mechanical and can perform computations. It has been around and remains used for the past thousands of years. The Abacus and the archeological discovery of the Greek computer remain with unknown inventors.
Charles Babbage was the eldest of four children born to Benjamin and Betty Plumleigh Babbage. His mother gave birth to a son, Henry, in October 1874, but the child died in infancy. In May 1876, she gave birth to another son, whom they also named Henry, who died as a small child. Finally, in March 1878, Betty bore a fourth child, a girl, named Mary Anne. Charles and Mary Anne had a warm, lifelong relationship. He preceded her in death.
frank duryea and charles duryea date 1893
Rubber was introduced by Charles Marie de La Condamine in 1736.
The first laptop/portable computer was invented in 1981 by Adam Osborne.
It was initially though to be in 1792, but after his death, a nephew pointed out that Charles' baptism was at age 1 in 1792, so his birth year was then officially placed in 1791 ... December 26th. He died on October 18, 1871. There is also some doubts as to his place of birth.
An "Old Computer" would literally be any computer that has become out of date. Which is almost literally, every computer that goes out of the factory. However, most people would consider anything older than Windows XP to be rather 'old'.colossus
The first biological computer was the human brain. It wasn't so much invented as evolved. One of the earliest analog computers, the abacus, can be dated to around 2700-2300BCE. However, one of the most complex analog computers for its time must be the Antikythera mechanism, which is reckoned to date from around 100BCE. Nothing that comes close to its level of complexity appeared for another 1500 years. However, Charles Babbage's 1822 proposal which led to his design of Difference Engine No.2 pushed the boundaries of complexity beyond anything that had come before. So much so that Babbage is now credited as being a father of the computer. Even though he never completed construction of his designs beyond some simple protypes, a working model was completed 1991 which proved his designs were well within the tolerances expected of the period. However, it is only fair to say that Johann Helfrich von Müller deserves some credit as he conceived the idea of a difference engine in 1786, but lacked funding to pursue the idea further.Sorry, but the Abacus is a digital computing aid not an analog computer.
April 6, 1944 is the birth date of Charles Sobhraj.
