This is all about factorising. Firstly yo have to find the biggest number that will go into both 15 and 75. 15 goes into both 15 and 75. Divide both numbers by 15, (15/15=1) (75/15=5) Therefore the ratio in its lowest terms is 1:5 If you can not recognise that 15 is the highest common factor straight off then look for smaller ones each time. e.g. divide by 5. Ratio = 3:15 divide new ration by 3. Ratio = 1:5
75% in lowest terms is 3/4
3 x 3 x 5 = 45 3 x 5 x 5 = 75 45/75 = 3/5
2/3
75
11/15
75 over 21 in lowest terms = 25/7
45 over 75 in lowest terms is 3/5
In its lowest terms 75 and 5 is 15 and 1
9 over 15. You divide them both by a common denominator in this case 5.
9 over 15Answer45/75=3/5 (Both top and bottom can be divided by 15)
1/5
75/100 in lowest terms is 3/4
No because 32/300 is 8/75 in its lowest terms
1/3
16/25
three fifths
