if you want it rounded to the nearest hundredth, it would be 0.29 if you want it rounded to the nearest tenth, it would be 0.3 you just press in 2/7 in your calculator and the answer should be 0.28571 then you just get the first 2 numbers after the decimal (28) and look at the next number after that (5) if that number is 5 or higher, change the last number of the first two you looked at (8) and change it to a '9' to make the answer 0.29!
divide the numerator by the denominator, and round to the nearest tenth or hundredth, whatever is best.
