Oh, dude, you're asking me to do math? Fine, fine. So, 0.71 rounded to the nearest hundredth is 0.71. Yep, that's it. No need to break a sweat over that one.

if you want it rounded to the nearest hundredth, it would be 0.29 if you want it rounded to the nearest tenth, it would be 0.3 you just press in 2/7 in your calculator and the answer should be 0.28571 then you just get the first 2 numbers after the decimal (28) and look at the next number after that (5) if that number is 5 or higher, change the last number of the first two you looked at (8) and change it to a '9' to make the answer 0.29!
divide the numerator by the denominator, and round to the nearest tenth or hundredth, whatever is best. Ex. 1 1/2 = 1.5 since 1 divided by 2 is .5, make the new number 1.5. if the number is 1 1/3, then the decimal would be 1.33333..... so then you would round it to the nearest tenth (1.3) or the nearest hundredth (1.33) and then put a repeating bar over the decimal.
