Its a bit ambiguous. As it can mean front to back or top to bottom. But in the case of a cube it doesn't matter as all sides are the same length. So the short answer would be the length of any side.

Its better to think of length, width and height of a 3d object or to use the classical axes notation x, y and z

x = Length - 1 dimension or a straight line

xy = Length x Width - 2 dimensions

xyz = Length x Width x Height - 3 dimensions

The depth of a cube is typically referred to as the distance from one face to the opposite face, measured perpendicular to the faces. In a cube, all sides are equal, so the depth would be the same as the height or width of the cube.

What is the width height and depth of a 15 TV?

if the volume of a cube = 15, the side = cube root (volume) = cube root (15) = 2.466

How do you work out the volume of a cube?

Volume: l times w times depth

What is a good description of how you would measure the volume of a cube?

What is the volume of a cube of side 4c?

The volume of a cube is width times depth times height and all sides are equal because it is a cube, therefore the volume is (4C) cubed or 64 (C)cubed.

What is the formula for determining the volume of a cube in cubic inches?

width times height times depth

What is the volume of the cube in inches?

Multiply the length/depth/height and your product will be in cubic inches. That is the volume.
