like if 13, 18, 22, 7, 4 are your numbers, you put them in order 4, 7, 13, 18, 22 then from the sides, you cross the numbers. for this set of numbers the median would be 13. the median is the middle number. if you have an even amount of numbers 6, 16, 24, 19, 20, 3 you still put them in order 3, 6, 16, 19, 20, 24 then you cross the numbers off the sides and you end up with 2 numbers in the middle. you add the 2 numbers together and then divide them by 2. with these numbers the midian would be 17.1, if your number has a remander, you round off to the nearest whole number. that's it. hope this helps you.
