A median is the middle of a certain group of numbers.
For example: 8, 1, 5, 9, 4, 11, 12. The first thing you need to do to get a median is number the numbers from least to greatest. In this case, it would be: 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12. Next, you cross off the numbers. First you cross off 1. Then you cross off 12. Next, you cross off 4. Then, you cross off 11. Next is 5. Then 9. Now you only have 8 left. There is your median.
Also if you have two numbers in the middle, you just add them together and divide the sum by 2.

Medain salehs means sales city in Arabic and is considered to be a?

That is not what "Medain salehs" means. Medain, is a form of the word "Medina" which indeed means city, although Medain seems to be in an incorrect form in which it is plural. "Salehs" is not a word as far as I know. However, "Saleh" is a word, and it means good person, or an opposer to evil, or a reconsiler.
