The individual digits of multiples of nine add up to 9. For example: 81, 72, and 36 are multiples of nine whose digits add up to 9.

9 x 9 = 81 --> 8 + 1 = 9

9 x 8 = 72 --> 7 + 2 = 9

9 x 4 = 36 --> 3 + 6 = 9

The same goes for larger numbers, just keep adding the digits of each answer.

9 x 48 = 432 --> 4 + 3 + 2 = 9

9 x 10488 = 94392 --> 9 + 4 + 3 + 9 + 2 = 27 --> 2 + 7 = 9
