Able to sit up for longer periods if supported.

Can use thumb & fore-finger to pick up small objects.

Able to sit unsupported. Can pull into sitting position. Begins to crawl. Can pull to standing. Can stand if gripping something.

By 12 months

Can use a spoon and can feed themselves clumsily.

Crawls. Walking if supported.

By 18 months

Begins to scribble

Can walk without support.

By 2 years

Can dress if clothes are simple

Can run

By 2 ½ years

Can dress completely. Except buttons. Can use things like scissors.

Can jump on both feet and walk on tip-toe.

By 3 years

Can dress almost completely

Can stand on one foot
