The perimeter and area don't depend on each other. Knowing one
doesn't tell you the other.
-- A circle with perimeter (circumference) of 20 cm has area of 31.83 cm2.
-- A square with perimeter of 20 cm has area of 25 cm2 .
-- A (9 x 1) rectangle has perimeter of 20 cm and area of 9 cm2 .
-- A (8 x 2) rectangle has perimeter of 20 cm and area of 16 cm2 .
-- A (7 x 3) rectangle has perimeter of 20 cm and area of 21 cm2 .
-- A (6 x 4) rectangle has perimeter of 20 cm and area of 24 cm2 .
Area = (side)2 = 16 square centimeters Perimeter = 4 x side = 16 centimeters
The width of the rectangle is 4 cm
If the rectangle is a square, the perimeter is 48 cm. If not, there are a lot of possibilities.

The area of square is : 400.0

Oddly enough the perimeter is 16 centimeters.
The perimeter of a rectangle measuring 20x45 centimeters is (2*20) + (2*45) = 40 + 90 = 130 cm
Even if you knew how many sides the polygon has, you stillcould not calculate its perimeter with that much information.Examples:-- An equilateral triangle with area of 20 has perimeter of 20.3885 .-- A square with area of 20 has perimeter of 17.889(rounded).-- A rectangle with area of 20 can have any perimeter more than 17.889 .4 by 5 . . . . area = 20, perimeter = 182 by 10 . . . area = 20, perimeter = 241 by 20 . . . area = 20, perimeter = 42..etc.
The area of an object with a perimeter of 26 centimeters
Area = (side)2 = 16 square centimeters Perimeter = 4 x side = 16 centimeters
52 cm
