I'm assuming that is 1/6. To find the decimal equivalent simply divide the Numerator (top number) by the Denominator (bottom number).

1 divided by 6

To do this you must add a decimal after the 1 and a 0

The answer ends up being .1666666666~ continually. Depending on how many decimal points you want. Stop at the desired decimal and round the final place up to 7.

For example if you need 3 decimal spots then the answer is .167~
