A ratio is defined as the relation between two similar values with respect to the number of times the first contains the second. For example, the ratio of men to women in the class is 3 to 2, or 3:2, or 3/2.
A percent is defined as a value expressed on the basis of a rate or proportion per hundred. S0...3/2 equals 1.5, which equals 150%.
The difference is the context in which information is presented. The same values can be expressed either as a percentage of 100, or else as the number of times the first contains the second.
Another example would be this:
60% of the manufactured products passed inspection and were shipped to market. What is the ratio of good to bad products?
60% = .6, or 60/100 which reduces to 6/10 or 3/5. Therefore, the ratio of good to bad products is 3 to 5, or 3:5, or 3/5.

An odds ratio is the difference between the number of times that something happens and does not happen. An unadjusted odds ratio is a guess between what could or could not happen.

To calculate the percentage difference between two numbers, you first find the difference between the two numbers, which in this case is 25437 - 21610 = 3837. Then, you divide this difference by the original number (21610) and multiply by 100 to get the percentage difference: (3837 / 21610) * 100 ≈ 17.75%. Therefore, the percentage difference between 21610 and 25437 is approximately 17.75%.
