If one side is 8 m then the side opposite is also 8 m. Similarly if the adjacent side is 3 m then the side opposite that is also 3 m.

thus the perimeter = 8+3+8+3 m = 22m.

The lenghth of a rectangle is 3 meters more than twice its width What is the width of the rectangle if the perimeter of the rectangle is 186 meters?

Suppose the width=x so the length will be= (2x+3) Now perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+width) so, 186=2(x+2x+3) or, 3x+3=93 or, 3x=90 so, x=30 so the width of the rectangle is 30meters

What is the perimeter of a rectangle that has a length 12 m and width 3 m?

The perimeter of a rectangle is calculated by adding all four sides together. In this case, the length is 12m and the width is 3m. The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is P = 2(length) + 2(width). Therefore, the perimeter of this rectangle would be P = 2(12m) + 2(3m) = 24m + 6m = 30 meters.

What is the perimeter of a rectangle 33m x 3 m?

If the length of a rectangle is 3 meters more than the width and the perimeter of the rectangle is 48 meters?

width = x and length = x+3 the perimeter = x + x +( x+3) +(x + 3) = 48, solve for x 4x + 6 = 48m 4x = 42 x = 10.5m (width) x+3 = 13.5m (length)
