The altitude is usually drawn from the base.
The line drawn from the center of a regular polygon and perpendicular to a side.
a polygon with six sides and six angles is called a hexagon
An isosceles triangle has one line of symmetry, which is drawn from the noncongruent side to the opposite vertex, and does not have a rotation symmetry.
………………………… is a line segment that joins two vertexof a polygon but is not a side of the polygon.
If it's a right angle triangle then use Pythagoras' theorem to find the 3rd side

10 side polygon is called decogon
The line drawn from the center of a regular polygon and perpendicular to a side.
An 8-sided polygon is called an octagon.
Not surprisingly, it is called a side!
Face
An altitude is a perpendicular drawn from a point to the opposite segment while a median is a segment drawn from a point to the opposite side such that it bisects the side.Altitudes and their concurrenceMedians and their concurrence
Not necessarily. That only happens in isosceles and equilateral triangles.
Nine side polygon is a nonagon
An apothem is a line drawn perpendicular to a side of a regular polygon from the center of the polygon. A polygon is not a circle so it cannot have a radius. The radius of a circle is drawn from the center to any point in the circumference of the circle. You can draw a circle which encloses the regular polygon touching all vertices. The polygon is said to be inscribed in the circle. The apothem will be less than the radius because the radius is not perpendicular to any side, it can be drawn to a vertex but the apothem is perpendicular to a side, so it is shorter. Ex: draw a square with a circle which inscribes it. You can see that the apothem will be less than the radius.
