It depends on what the school prefers. I would think that 9th graders in a school for kids with learning disabilities normally learn Pre-Algebra, or Algebra 1. For a 9th grade class in a mainstream school, I would think that most 9th graders would learn Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, or Trigonometry. I would think that Trigonometry is mostly for gifted 9th graders.
Math Grade 9
All math is related. In first grade you learn extremely simple math such as subtraction, addition, division and multiplication and in seventh grade you learn more complicated math, such as algebra or trigonometry. Math just gets more and more complicated the higher your grade level but it is still all related to math.

In 6th Grade, you learn how to Multiply and Divide Fractions and Decimals. And learn square roots, the Powers of Ten.
8th grade math is like any other math, of course, each grade gets harder, but I think 8 math is pretty easy, It all depends on how you learn, If you go home and study what you learned that day it's so easy

4th was harder because, in 3rd grade u learn new math wich is harder then any type of math(even harder then division) and in 4th grade you revue it but with 4th grade questions. But in 5th grade you just learn regular math like high devision, and if u just pay attention u will do excellent
no, not really but it might be helpful in the future if you learn grade 12 math. I strongly advise you take it.
It isn't that hard...about the same stuff as Grade 5 math...But, has a little more work and harder lessons to learn.
Because all the people in the grade are 9, 10, and 11.
