An easy way to remember how to do these is to think about the units:
Speed = kilometers / hour
Now plug in the values you know:
Speed = 1.2 km / .1 hour
Speed = 12 km/hour
Time = Distance/Speed = 825/75 = 11 hours
125 Kilometres - 75 minutes is 1.25 hours.
Time = Distance/Speed = 6/45 hours = 8 minutes.
The speed is the distance traveled divided by the time it takes to travel that distance. In this case we with divide 8 kilometers by 10 minutes to get 0.8 km/minute. One hour is sixty minutes, so this works out to 48 km/hour.
Time = Distance/Average speed = 115/100 = 1.15 hours or 1 hour and 9 minutes.
About 15-16 hours (900 - 960 minutes) if you are walking at a normal pace. That's about 4mph. You would have to be fit to cover that distance in one go at that speed.
Distance travelled / time taken to travel the distance
This is impossible to answer, for the time to travel a distance is speed, and without the knowledge of the speed, the answer would equal infinite.
That depends on the speed. If you know at what speed you will travel, divide the distance by the speed.That depends on the speed. The definition of distance is a measurement from point A to point B. As an element of travel, the time taken to go from point A to point B is the time of travel, or the time taken to cover the distance at a certain speed.
Time = Distance/Speed = 825/75 = 11 hours
Distance = (speed) x (time)Time = (distance) / (speed)= 1 / 20 hour = 3 minutes
125 Kilometres - 75 minutes is 1.25 hours.
Speed = Distance/Time Rearrange the formula: Time = Distance/Speed Time = 350/60 = 35/6 = 5 hours and 50 minutes
Distance over time!
Speed = (Distance)/(Time to cover the distance)
