If one piece is 26 feet longer than the other that means one piece is half of 26 longer than half of 130, the other is shorter by the same amount, so...
130/2=65
26/2=13
65+13=78
65-13=52
Lets see if that adds up. 78+52=130, so that's good. 78-52=26 so that is good as well. One piece is 78 feet long, the other is 52.
