Along the bottom and up the left hand side for most graphs.
In the general case the x-axis runs horizontally through the origin, and the y-axis runs vertically through the origin. In each case the axis runs from minus infinity to plus infinity.
Well if your talking about on a coordinate plane or a set of perpendicular lines the y axis goes up and down and the x axis goes sideways (if you want it simple).
the curve should be located in the center of the graph.
Discriminant = 116; Graph crosses the x-axis two times
A zero pair is an ordered pair of (0,0) located absolutely on the origin of a coordinate graph.
the five graph is line graph, bar graph, pictograph, pie graph and coin graph
bar graph, line graph and pie graph

.... then your graph is inverted.
We use y_y axes
It is called the ordinate.
up and down. the x goes left and right
The vertical y axis on the Cartesian plane is both negative and positive
The main vertical line going up the middle is generally refered to as the y axis, while the horizontal line that meets the yaxis in the middle is refered to as the x axis. the line that's going up the line that's going across is the x axis

On the left.
Click the y = button which is probably located in the top left corner. Type in the equation you wish to graph and press the graph button wich is located somewhere on the top right side.
The Y-axis is located on the left side of a four sided graph. It is going in a vertical direction.
On a bar graph, the y-axis is the vertical axis, typically located to the left of the data bars.
