This contributor is going to conjecture that more of the chicken is protein,
simply because more of the beef is fat.
That's just one person's opinion.
I could be wrong.
A pound of steel.
1 pound is more 1 pound = 16 ounces so is more than 7 ounces
Does 6 of a pound weigh more than an ounce
0.3 pounds. A more precise answer depends on whether it is pound (currency) or pound (mass).
No, a pound of anything has the same mass.Well, my friend, a pound is a pound, so they are of equal weights.
Turkey
Beef has more protein
This is going to depend upon the amount of fat in the item. If protien is found in muscle then it follows that there is more protein in fillet mignon than in rib-eye steaks. There would also be more protien in 95% fat-free ground beef than in 80% fat-free ground beet. When it comes to chicken, the same holds true. Those cuts of meat with less fat have more protein. Now comes the water part. Often grocery stores will sell poultry with "water added" with the idea that it keeps the meat moist while it cooks. That added water adds weight but does not add protien so you have less protein per pound when water is added to the meat. Also, almost all grocery stores sell beef and chicken with bone-in as well as boneless. Obviously you are not eating the bone so the weight you are buying is greater than the amount of edible material in the container. In the end it all depends on the amount of fat and water in the specimen. I would guess that 1 pound of beef jerky would have the most amount of protein but chicken jerky would be likely be just as equal.
Does chicken have more protein then carrots
It depends on the cut, as some cuts have more protein than others because of the fat content. There are 80-100 grams of protein per pound of ground beef. However, there are 120-135 grams of protein in one pound of steak. Remember that cooking denatures the proteins in a food.
Chicken
White meat, such as chicken and turkey, generally has a higher protein content compared to red meat like beef or pork.
Beef liver has more iron
In my opinion....Chicken sells more because children love it..
Beef fat is both saturated and unsaturated, more than half is unsaturated.
yes and pound for pound, contains more protine than beef!!
Fish are said to have more protein but i still believe Chicken (whole) has more protein than fish do because of the amount of bones that are in the body
